Medical disclaimer
Check with your physiotherapist or doctor before starting. In the app, you confirm they've seen your program and said it's OK for you before your first session. Exercise education, not medical advice. These programs are general guidance for common, non-serious aches. They are not a diagnosis or a substitute for care from a physiotherapist or doctor. If you have severe or worsening pain, numbness, weakness, or pain after an injury or surgery, get assessed first.
Questions
Can I do physio exercises at home without a physio?
Check with your physiotherapist or doctor before starting: show them the program and make sure it's right for you. Many common aches respond well to gradual, regular exercise, and these programs follow that approach: settle pain first, then rebuild strength. They are general education, not a diagnosis, so see a physiotherapist or doctor if pain is severe, getting worse, or comes with any warning sign listed on each program.
How is this different from a virtual physio appointment?
A physiotherapy appointment gives you a clinician who assesses you. Apex One guides you through structured exercise programs at home between physio sessions (not instead of them), with a voice coach, rep counting where the camera can track the exercise, and pain checks before and after each session. It's exercise education, not medical advice.
How much should it hurt?
Mild discomfort is usually fine as long as it stays at about 3 out of 10 or less and settles within a day. Sharp, worsening or lingering pain means stop and get advice.
How long does each program take?
Each program has three phases, from calming things down to strengthening and returning to activity. You move up a phase when your body is coping well, typically over several weeks.
