30-day squat challenge

Thirty days, one move, a lot stronger legs. Apex One counts each squat and only counts full-depth reps, so there's no cheating your way to 100.

The workout

  1. SquatDays 1–7: 20–40 reps

Turn sideways. Keep one hip, knee and ankle in view.

  2. SquatDays 8–14: 40–60 reps

Turn sideways. Keep one hip, knee and ankle in view.

  3. SquatDays 15–21: 60–80 reps

Turn sideways. Keep one hip, knee and ankle in view.

  4. SquatDays 22–30: 80–100 reps

Turn sideways. Keep one hip, knee and ankle in view.

Split each day into sets of 10–20. Take a rest day every 6 days; a missed day won't break your Apex One streak. Warm up for a few minutes first, and stop if anything hurts.

Questions

Do I need equipment?

No. Every move is bodyweight.

How often should I do it?

2 to 4 times a week with a rest day in between is a good start. Apex One's Today's plan suggests when to push and when to rest.

How does Apex One help?

Prop up your phone and it counts every rep out loud, only counting full-range reps, and saves your sets, streak and personal bests.
